On Friday, I visited a health screening center for my regular health checkup.
In South Korea, people who are eligible can receive regular health screenings through the National Health Insurance system. I also pay monthly health insurance contributions.
My employer provides additional financial support for health screenings, allowing me to have more tests beyond the standard national health checkup.

After checking in, I changed into a medical gown in the changing room.
I was also given a small electronic wristband.
At each examination area, I scanned my wristband and waited for my turn. The center had separate departments for different tests, so I simply followed the directions from one area to another.

I can definitely feel that my body has changed since giving birth.
I've also come to realize that good health isn't something I should take for granted.
Between having a baby, raising my daughter, and returning to work, life has been so busy that taking care of myself often gets pushed aside.
This checkup was a chance to focus on my own health, not just as a mother, but as a person, too.

In South Korea, eligible people can receive regular health screenings through the national health screening program. Some companies also provide financial support for additional examinations.
But I'm curious about how health checkups work in other countries.
Do people in your country get regular health checkups?
Are they covered by the government or employers, or do you usually arrange and pay for them yourself?
And how would you naturally say "I'm here for my health checkup" in your language?
I'd love to learn from you! ๐
